Rourkela, Jan 1: “We should be in the driver’s seat and not in driven seat. We should control the situation and the situation should not control us,” emphasised G S Prasad, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) while interacting with the employees of various departments during his visit to various units of the steel plant to convey his greetings to the employees on the occasion of New Year. He expressed confidence that the New Year will be even better than the past year and RSP will be touching new peaks of excellence in production as well as profitability in the year 2015. “Each employee has to make an effort to catapult RSP to the next orbit,” he stressed. It is worth mentioning here that the CEO along with Umesh Kumar, ED (MM), MK Das, ED (Projects), SK Acharya, ED (Projects), Ashwini Kumar, ED (Works) and other senior officers visited all the major units of the Plant and the Township.
